Did You Recognize That George Washington Was a Land Surveyor?
Did you understand that George Washington was a territory surveyor? Youthful George Washington acquired the art of engineering consultant from his brother Lawrence and from set up regional surveyors. By 1746, barely into his teens, he began operating lines for farms in close proximity to his household. His earliest acknowledged survey, in the Ferry Farm, is dated 1747, and amazingly, continues to be in existence.
